A SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM "QMB"

Are You Ready to Cross the Finish Line?

In the past several months a few of our fellow racers have passed away unexpectedly.
Which raises the question:  Are you ready to cross the finish line?
We all know, tomorrow is not promised. Yet, we all have said, “We’ll talk about it tomorrow,”
“I’ll take care of it tomorrow,” “I’ll give him/her a call tomorrow,” “I’ll stop by to see them tomorrow.”  What if tomorrow never comes? Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today.

As we get older we realized that our time here is short. So it’s important to start
talking to your family about “what if ….”   It’s a hard topic to discuss but that’s reality.
So often families are left not knowing what to do and with so many questions:
Does he have life insurance? And if so, where is the policy?
Does he have a will? What should I do with the race car?
Do I sell it? Give to a friend? What would he want me to do? And the list goes on.

Sometimes death can tear a family apart, when it’s a time that should bring a family closer together. Racers, talk to your family and let them know your wishes. Prepare a will so there will be no questions on the way you want things to be handled when you’re gone.
Racers, please make sure that your team is ready when you cross that finish line.

Always keep God and family first in your life.
