Barry Logan Finishes the Season in the Finals




Barry Logan in his 1969 Camaro finishes off the 2006 racing season by going to the final round in Class I at Capitol Raceway on Saturday, Nov 11, 2006.  Barry dialed in on an 8.55 and ran an 8.55 ET @ 157 mph.  Barry has had several wins this year and we Congratulate Barry for a great racing season.

Vincent Harris Goes to the Finals Again




Vincent Harris also finished his race season with a final round finish in the motorcycle Class on Saturday at Capitol Raceway.  What a way to end the season, good job Vincent.

Lee Alston in his 2001 Dodge Avenger qualified No. 1 with a 7.76 ET @ 175.14 mph in the Top Sportsman Quick 8 at the Mopar Eastern Classic on Saturday, Nov 11, 2006 at Maryland International Raceway.  Lee made it to the semi-final round.  Congrats to Lee and his team.







Robert “Jeff” Barbour driver of the Reggie Powered 1999 Dodge Avenger owned by Reggie Roderick qualified No. 4 in the Top Sportsman Quick 8 program with an 8.11 ET @ 167.01 mph.  The Reggie Powered Crew made it to the finals but was unable to make the run due to mechanical problems. We would like to Congratulate Jeff and Reggie for going the distance.  






The team of Al Harris and Clarence “Billy” Harris went to the semi-finals in Class I in their 1970 Dodge Dart driven by Al Harris at the Mopar Eastern Classic on Saturday. Billy and Al, a father and son team working together to make great strides in drag racing.  Congratulations go to both of you for making it to the semi-finals.

Speaking of a father and son team, at Capitol Raceway on Saturday, Nov 11, 2006 Herman McCray Sr. and his son Herman McCray Jr. face off during a time run session.  It's great to see a father and son racing down the quarter mile.
