*Eric Whitehurst* “Scores Big”   Eric Whitehurst won the No. 1 spot in points in both Mod ET and Top ET at the Outer Banks Speedway in Creswell, NC for the 2006 Racing Season.   Eric is Donovan's brother who I wrote about a few weeks ago who passed away in a racing accident. We congratulate Eric for his outstanding performance and we know that Donovan is smiling down on him.

“Brothers Brave the Cold” With cool temperatures in the 40s at Capitol Raceway on Saturday, Nov 4, 2006, Bobby Proctor had his 1968 Camaro leaving the line with the wheels in the air running 8.80s in Class I.  After going several rounds with track conditions going away Bobby had to abort the run causing him to loss the race. Wayne 'Rip' Gilham in his 1968 Firebird also leaving the line with the wheels in the air, braved the cold to go several rounds on Saturday at Capitol Raceway in Class II.
