"Rocky  Last 'Brother' Standing"

     


Rajsaun "Rocky" McCray  was the last 'Brother' standing in the Gambler's Race on Sunday, March 25, 2007 at Capitol Raceway.  Rocky in his 1968 Camaro lost in the 3rd round.  

We congratulate Rocky on his gallant effort.

"Hurricane & Thunder"
 
Terris Hicks the owner of the "Hurricane" Mustang arrived at Capitol Raceway on Sunday, March 25, 2007 accompanied by "Thunder" a Dragster driven by his son Terris Hicks Jr. .   This was Terris Jr. first time driving the dragster, with his father's assistance he made one test run.  Terris Jr. not only has the support of his father but he also had his grandfather, Johnny Cromwell, in the stands cheering him on.  We look forward to seeing great things from this young brother, Terris Jr.,  as we head into the 2007 racing season.  The team is scheduled to make an appearance at the Outlaw Pro Street Race at Capitol Raceway on Friday, April 6th.

Southern Outlaw Door Slammers

Listen up  Brothers!  We have just been informed about a new Quick 16 Class known as the "Southern Outlaw Door Slammers".  This is a heads up Quick 16 Class, so far they have over (25) participants signed up.  They have scheduled (13) races this season with the first race scheduled for Sunday, April 15th at Colonial Beach Dragway in Colonial Beach, VA.    We would like to thank Carlos Wells (Wells Enterprise Racing) and Kenneth Griffin, Jr. (Davis-Griffin Motorsports), who are both members of the Southern Outlaw Door Slammers, for providing us with this information. We wish them much success.
