Tanks Motorsports Has Added Two New Members to its Team

We would like to Congratulate Felisha and Stacy Tanks on the birth of their twins Tyler (boy) and Tayler (girl) born on January 8, 2007. Like most Brothers, Tyler took the lead being born at 3:45 a.m. with his sister trailing shortly behind arriving at 3:49 a.m. As you can see in the picture Tyler is already looking over his little sister.

If it's left up to their father (Stacy) and grandfather (Stanley), who make up Tanks Motorsports, we will be seeing these two little babies in junior dragsters before you know it.

Marvin Pinkey Goes Top Sportsman

I'm getting my 1992 Pontiac Firebird ready for the IHRA Pro Am Tour, running in Top Sportsman, starting at Maryland International Raceway (Budds Creek) on April 14-15. First I need to make my license runs and get the car set up and dial in for the season. I made several passes late in the season last year, but had some transmission problems, but all that's fixed now. My Firebird is powered by a Reher-Morrison 565 and a BTE Power Glide.

I looking forward to competing in Top Sportsman this year, hopefully I'll do well enough to attract a sponsor. I've been racing for 7 years in Heavy Eliminator and Super Pro, with the typical highs and lows, but enjoyed every pass down the track. Hopefully you'll be seeing me late in the rounds or in the winner circle. Come out and cheer the team on, my crew members are J.D. Gray, Tyrone Dorsey, Fred Hill, and my Brother Mike.
