2007 Winter Fest in Kinston, NC

On Saturday, January 6, 2007, QMB took a trip to KDS Motorsports Park in Kinston, NC for the Annual Winter Fest Drag Racing Meet.  The track was packed from the burnout box to the finish line.  Cars were everywhere.  We apology to all the brothers who cars we didn't get a picture of but it was truly a hectic day.  The track had alot of down time due to cars breaking on the starting line so we didn't catch alot of cars off the line.  We got a few pictures off the line and in the pits.  But we truly wish we could have gotten more pictures because alot of brothers were in the house.  We would like to give out props to "Big George" in his Black Chevy Nova, who made a great pass leaving the line with wheels in the air.  We also would like to recognize JR McCowin in the Burgundy Chevy Nova sporting "360 Moving" on the hood, who left the line with wheels in the air dragging the back bumper.   George and  JR put on a great show for the crowd.

"The God Father" Nova Returns

It was nice to see "The God Father" Nova once belonging to the late Bill Battle, who was a well known  racer in the D.C. Metropolitan area,  was still in existence.    Looking good and still in competition now being driven by Bill's brother Mann Battle.
