Charles Kelly Goes to the Semi Finals in Quick 16 at
Quarter Masters Challenge

Charles Kelly was the last "Brother" Standing in the Quick 16 program at the Quarter Masters
Challenge on Sunday, September 6, 2009; when the race was called off due to rain. We Congratulate Charles for making it to the semi finals and for being the last "Brother" Standing.



Denny Turner Wins in the QMB Top Sportsman Shootout

We Congratulate Denny and his father, John on a great win.

This was a better sweet victory for the Turner family. John lost his long time love "Mary" , who past away last week. Our thoughts and prayers are with John & Denny during their time of grief.

Barry Logan Gets Runner-Up in the QMB Top Sportsman Shootout



Barry Logan goes to the final in the Quarter Mile Brother 1/8 Mile Top Sportsman Shootout
on Saturday, September 6, 2009 at Capitol Raceway. Losing by default in the final against Denny Turner, when his car broke and was unable to run the final round. We Congratulate
Barry on his
runner-up win and thank him for being the Last "Brother" Standing.


Kip Green & Purnell Stewart Face Off in Pro Bike at
"Battle on the Hill"


Kip Green and Purnell Stewart make it an all "Brother" Final in Pro Bike at Capitol Raceway on Saturday, September 6, 2009. We Congratulate Kip on his final round victory and Purnell for his runner-up win. And we thank them both for making it an all "Brother" Final. Way to go guys.

John Dews Debute His Drag Racing Skills at Capitol Raceway


John Dews III made his first passes ever at Capitol Raceway on Friday, September 4, 2009. John had been waiting for quite sometime to race down the quartermile and he was extremely happy to finally get his first pass under his belt. John and his father John Dews Jr have been building John's 1968 Chevelle for the past few years. The fruits of their labor showed on friday night when John made his first full pass running a 10.85@ 124 mph. John made 4 passes with his quickest pass of the night being at 10.75@ 124. We Congratulate John on his debut and we welcome him into the drag racing world of "Quarter Mile Brothers".

Will Mitchell Re-Claims Title of Track Champion for 2009 in
Super Pro at Capitol Raceway

Will Mitchell does again. Will holds the title of "2009 Track Champion" in Super Pro at
Capitol Raceway. This is the 2nd year in a row that Will has held they the Championship
title. Will was also track champ in 2006. We Congratulate Will on his out standing
performance throughtout the year and we wish him luck at the Bracket Finals.


Vincent "Pop" Harris is Crowned "2009Track Champion" in Pro Bike
at Capitol Raceway

Vincent "Pop" Harris takes the title as the "2009 Track Champion" in Pro Bike
at Capitol Raceway. We Congratulate Pop on his outstanding performance this
season and hope to see him in the winners's circle the Bracket Finals.
