John Dews Debute His Drag Racing Skills at Capitol Raceway John Dews III made his first passes ever at Capitol Raceway on Friday, September 4, 2009. John had been waiting for quite sometime to race down the quartermile and he was extremely happy to finally get his first pass under his belt. John and his father John Dews Jr have been building John's 1968 Chevelle for the past few years. The fruits of their labor showed on friday night when John made his first full pass running a 10.85@ 124 mph. John made 4 passes with his quickest pass of the night being at 10.75@ 124. We Congratulate John on his debut and we welcome him into the drag racing world of "Quarter Mile Brothers". (Jerron Settles of "Imagine That Customs" would also like to Congratulate John on his debut performance.) |
