George Williams Goes to the Final in Quick 16 at
Virginia Motorsports Park

George Williams ran a 4.186 @ 174.64 in the first round of qualifying to clinch the #4 spot
in the Pro Outlaw Quick 16 at Virginia Motorsports Park on Saturday, July 18, 2009.
George backed it up with a 4.186 @ 174.75 in the 2nd round of qualifying. George with
his very consistent 1951 Chevy went to the final round against the #2 qualifier Freddy
Scriba. George lost by default when his car started leaking water on the starting
line in the final and he was unable to make the pass. We Congratulate George and his Crew on an outstanding performance. And Salute him for being the Last "Brother" Standing.

The Rock from North Carolina and the DC Sniper from Washington, DC meet up at the " Summer Boogie Down" race held at Virginia Motorsports Park on Saturday, July 18, 2009. The Rock and the DC Sniper were scheduled to run a grudge race; but it was called off due to mechanical programs with the Rock's car. We look forward to the seeing that race in the near future.
