Wilton Wallace Jr. Last Brother Standing In Gamblers at MIR

Wilton "Horse" Wallace Jr. was the last "Brother" standing in the Gamblers race on Sunday, June 1, 2008 when the race was cancelled due to rain the purse was split with the remaining racers.
We Congratulate Horse for staying in the race.

Willie Warren, Jr. wins in the Motorcycle Class on Saturday, May 31, 2008 at Northeast Dragway 008. We Congratulate Willie on his victory.

 

Eric Whitehurst Lands Another Double this time at Northeast Dragway

Eric Whitehurst after coming off a double final at Outerbanks Speedway last week. Eric does it again this time at Northeast Dragway on Saturday, May 31, 2008 . Eric running his Dragster in Top Eliminator and his Chevy Camaro in Modified Eliminator. Eric took home the win in Mod ET and got runner-up in Top Eliminator losing by a margin of .019. We Congratulate Eric on his outstanding driving skills and his winning performance.

The "Young Soldiers" from Soul Factory Church Visit Capitol Raceway

The "Young Soldiers" from the Soul Factory Church in Forestville, MD made a stop at Capitol Raceway on Saturday, May 31, 2008. This was just one of the activities that the group had scheduled for the day on Saturday. The Soul Factory Church gives back to the community with programs like; free gas give aways, free groceries and a number of other activities within the church that focus on the youth of the community. The church slogan is "Changing Lives From the Inside Out". Our thanks to Royce and Jason Miller for giving us the opportunity to host this meet and also for agreeing to let us host our 2nd Annual Custom T's of D.C. Doorslammer Nationals in 2009 at Maryland International Raceway. The date has been set, it will be SUNDAY, MAY 24, 2009. So please be sure to mark your calendars.
