Custom Ts of DC Racing Doorslammer Nationals
at Maryland International Raceway on Sunday, May 27, 2012
Custom Ts of DC Racing will be hosting the Doorslammer Nationals at Maryland International Raceway on Sunday, May 27, 2012. Custom Ts of DC Doorslammer Nationals has become an annual event at Maryland International Raceway during the Memorial Day weekend. This has become a highly anticipated event not only for the racers but for spectators as well.
Custom Ts of DC Doorslammer Nationals is filled with a day of non-stop action.
Custom Ts Quick 8 Pro Mod returns with a new championship belt going to this year’s winner once again. Last year’s champion Steve Vick ran a 3.93 ET @ 188 mph to take the win over Chris Rini who ran a 4.19 ET @ 176.51 mph in the final. This is what we call high speed action. Quick 8 Pro Mod is open to all Pro Mods with free entry for car and driver. To pre-register go to www.customtsracing.com.
Quarter Mile Brothers will also be featuring their Top Sportsman Shootout open to all Top Sportsman cars 5.99 or quicker. Last year there were over 50 cars in competition in Top Sportsman which normally has a standard field of 32. This year Quarter Mile Brothers in conjunction with Custom Ts of DC has increased the purse from $1,500 to $1,800 to the winner along with a custom championship belt; with the entry fee of $75 remaining the same as last year. In this economy it’s hard to ask the racers for more money.
Crushers Motorsports is on board again this year with the Quick 8 Pro Mod Bike Shootout which is open to all bikes. This amazing class will award the winner with the winning purse and a championship belt.
Gotta Go Now Portable Toilets will be sponsoring the Gamblers race, which is open to all racers including Dragsters. The winner of this race will also receive a championship belt along with the winning purse.
JRT Racing Trans No Time Grudge Racing is open to all no-time cars and bikes. There also will be an open test & tune all day.
Please note that the Pro Mods, Top Sportsman, Pro Mod Bikes and the Gamblers race will be 1/8 mile.
