George Williams Qualifies #2 in Pro Mod
at East Coast Door Warz


George Williams ran a 6.04 @ 232.55 to clinch the #2 Qualifier spot in Pro Mod
during the East Coast Door Warz held at Maryland International Raceway on Saturday, April 21, 2012.
We Congratulate George on an outstanding performance.



Return of "The Messenger" Richard Tyler

Richard “The Messenger” Tyler makes a return to drag racing after a 14 year
break in action. Rich made his comeback performance at Maryland International Raceway on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the East Coast Door Warz. 
Rich hasn't lost his skills. He showed that in his 2nd round of eliminations when
he not only turned on the win light but had a near perfect package. Leaving the line with a perfect reaction time and running dead on his dial of a 10.24 (see stats below).

The race was cancelled after 2nd round due to rain, so we will have to wait
to see Rich in a final round on his next time out.

Dink Holmes Moves from Junior Dragster to Top Eliminator


Dink Holmes, 2011 Junior Dragster Track Champion at Virginia Motorsports Park, has moved up to Top Eliminator.  Dink behind the wheel of his father's Chevy Camaro competited in Top Eliminator at the East Coast Door Warz on Saturday, April 21
and accomplished (2) round wins before the rain cancelled the race.
As you can see from his stats – Dink is deadly off the tree.

Race on Sunday, April 15th at Maryland International Raceway.

Tarrell Sinkler Wins the Gamblers Race at Piedmont Raceway

Tarrell Sinkler picks up the win in the Gambler Race at Piedmont Raceway
on Saturday, April 14th,   his first win for the 2012 season.

Jermaine Proctor and Darrell Mahoney Face Off in the Motorcycle Final

Jermaine Proctor and Darrell Mahoney make it an all “Brother” final on Saturday, April 14th at the first race of the Double Header Speed Unlimited Series. 
Jermaine turned on the win light in the final and claims his 2nd win in 2 weeks. 
We Congratulate Jermaine on his final round victory and Darrell on his runner-up win.  We applaud them both for making it an all “Brother” final.

on Saturday, April 14th at Maryland International Raceway.
Earning him the title of Last "Brother" Standing.

“Strip Blazer” is back with Junior Dragster
Driver Mitchell Durham Behind the Wheel


Mitchell Durham the grandson of the legendary "Malcolm Durham"
made his debut appearance at Maryland International Raceway a few
weeks ago.Mitchell Durham proudly displays the “Strip Blazer” name
on the side of his Junior Dragster with an added touch “ 3rd  Gen.”.
It started with his grandfather (Malcolm); then his father
(Bernard) and now its Mitchell's turn "the 3rd Generation".
Mitchell also has a picture of his grandfather’s cars on the top of his dragster. 

We are very happy to see that the “Strip Blazer” legacy continues.
  We welcome Mitchell to the drag racing arena and wish him a successful season.
