Pro Slammers Add Dan Olson Racing Products
(Story Written by Mike Henry - Sacramento, CA) The Pro Slammers Door Car Association is pleased to announce Dan Olson Racing Products as a contingency sponsor for 2010. Along with being a sponsor they will also post “bonus money” for the fastest mph at the inaugural event. Dan Olson Racing Products has been designing and manufacturing components for all types of racing since 1969. In Dan’s early years as an engine builder, he realized that the oil pan did far more than just hold oil. He discovered the importance controlling the oil while it was in the oil pan. Through trial and error he also learned that baffling the pans not only controlled the oil for added horsepower, but decreased oil temperature as well. Today, more than 40 years later, they’re are still at it; designing and developing oil pans and many other high quality racing products to suit your racing needs. Pro Slammers is a heads-up, 7.00 index class that features some of the west coast’s best drivers and teams, all trying to take home the PSDCA 2010 championship. There are blown, nitrous, turbo, supercharged, outlaw 10.5, naturally aspirated and what ever else it takes to run the number. With virtually no rules or weight restrictions, this style racing offers excitement for spectators, drivers and of course, track promoters who want to pack the stands. The first event scheduled for April 23-24th, Funny Car Fever hosted by 619 Promotions, will be held at Sacramento Raceway Park. There will be a guaranteed purse of $5000 to the winner regardless of car count, which has many teams licking their chops at one of the largest cash payouts of any association on the west coast. The Pro Slammers Door Car Association would like to thank all of their sponsors which include: Pro Cal Truck & RV Please visit www.proslammers.com for more information |
