Carlton Thorton Goes From Jr Dragster to Footbrake
to "Pass Time"

Carlton Thorton was one of the racers selected in Sept 2009 at Maryland Int'l Raceway to be featured on Speed's "Pass Time" show which aired on February 3, 2010. Carlton ran a 9.83 ET down the quarter mile in his 1980 Chevy Malibu.
We Congratulate Carlton on his appearance on "Pass Time".

NASCAR Driver Marc Davis Finishes in
3rd Place in South Africa

Who passed away on 1/21/10

Marc Davis and the Marc Davis Motorsports Team participated in the
Inaugural Freestate 500 at Phakisa Freeway in Welkom, South Africa.
Marc in the #96 WHUR Howard University Radio/The Word Network
Chevy, finished in 3rd place overall . Marc led 24 laps and ran in the top 4
for 185 laps, top 2 for 150 laps. Marc's best time was 36.501.
We Congratulate Marc on an historical performance.

Again, our condolences go out to Marc and the Marc Davis Motorsport Team.

Troy Henderson Makes a Great Pass on "Pass Time"

Troy Henderson was selected in Sept 2009 to be one of the drivers to be showcased on the Speed TV show "Pass Time" . The episode that featured Troy aired on Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Troy behind the wheel of his 1969 Chevy Camaro made a great pass; running a 6.75 ET down the quarter mile at Maryland Intl Raceway.
We Congratulate Troy on a great performance.

We would also like to Congratulate Greg Johnson for his appearance on "Pass Time". Greg made a pass in his 1970 1/2 Chevy Camaro running a 9.59 ET.

This year we have decided to add a few more items to the website.

As usual we will continue to bring to you photos and stories weekly about the
of the "Brothers" and the "Sisters" in the world of drag racing.
And yes, we did say "Sisters".

We are starting a NEW Profile called

At the end of each month we will be publishing a list

In the coming weeks we will be adding a Drag Racing Stories Directory that will
list Stories from 2006 to the Present. (Making it easier for you to locate stories.)

In March we will be launching a new program
